The Corn Maze at Long's: A New Design Every Fall
Every September the Longs cut a brand-new design into the corn at the farm in Commerce Township, and it's included with Fun Farm admission. Here's how the corn maze works, what to bring, and how to make a full day of it.
The short answer: one Fun Farm ticket gets you the corn maze, the hayride, and 20+ attractions, Fridays through Sundays through November 1.
The corn maze runs on Fun Farm days: Fridays 11 to 7, Saturdays and Sundays 10 to 7, last admission at 6. Admission is $18 online or $20 at the gate, kids under 32" are free, and the maze is included along with the hayride to the pumpkin patch, jumping pillows, slides, pedal karts, and the petting farm. No ticket is needed for the Cider Mill, which is open daily.
Get lost on purpose. It's the one day a year that's allowed.

Head for the maze entrance
It's inside the Fun Farm, and the crew will point you to it if you don't spot it. Go early in your visit while legs are fresh.
Walk the new design
The Longs cut a different design into the corn every fall, so last year's map doesn't help you. There's no wrong way through, just a longer one. Dead ends are part of it.
Come out the other side and keep going
The hayride, slides, pedal karts, and petting farm are all on the same ticket. Most families do the maze first and work their way back toward the barn.
Donuts on the way out
The Cider Mill is open daily and never needs a ticket. A dozen hot donuts after a corn maze is the whole point of fall.
The Moonlight Corn Maze
Taking a year off.
We're not running the Moonlight Corn Maze this year, but we're hoping to bring it back to the farm in a future season. This fall we've stretched Fun Farm hours to 7 PM, so there's a little more time to enjoy the maze and all the fall fun.
Corn Maze Tips for Michigan Families
Do the maze first
Fresh legs, fresh patience. Save the slides and the donut line for after.
Closed-toe shoes
It's a field. The paths are dirt and corn stalks, and after rain they're mud. Boots beat sneakers.
Keep the little ones close
The corn is taller than every adult on the farm. Hold hands at the forks and let the kids pick the direction.
Charge your phone
For the photos, and because the maze is a lot more fun when you can't ask it for directions.
Come later in the day
The Fun Farm is open until 7 PM this year, last admission at 6.
Buy ahead on October weekends
$2 cheaper, faster at the gate, and the first two weekends of October are the busiest of the year.
